I'm afraid of rushing during spring then my fees come out being $500

Well, honestly its probably cheaper to join in Spring rather than Fall because in Fall you have to pay the fee for formal recruitment. Contact the sorority(ies) you're interested in joining this semester and they will let you know how much it will be if you receive a bid from them
