sigep
by: confusedafI am confused af as to what happened with SigEp. My best friend wanted to rush em cause they were the most popular ones on campus but I heard they got kicked out. Is that true? Why are all the Sigeps calling themselves SigEX?

Sigep couldn't tailgate , didn't do the fashion show last fall , had NO involved guys whatsoever and has been irrelevant since about 3-4 years ago. They weren't prevalent in the Greek community. Definitely fraternities such as Beta Theta Pi, Sigma Chi, and Theta Chi have been bigger factors at FIU the past couple years.

One brother told nationals about a small issue the fraternity was having. Nationals flipped out and stopped the new member process, made the chapter cut communications, made a membership review and then after everything they put the person who told on everybody the leader while kicking out 80% of the chapter. Basically they hit a reset button on the chapter. The issue wasn't even that big(non-violent or degrading hazing) but since nationals got told BY A MEMBER, they had to take big action or be faced with potential lawsuits.

The Balanced Man Program is based on continuous, single-tier development divided between four challenges. Balanced Man Program chapters will have the opportunity to participate in four challenges that progress throughout their entire college experience.
Members in the Sigma Challenge will focus on time management skills and chapter orientation. The Phi Challenge will help emerging leaders develop leadership skills and gentlemanly behavior.
The Epsilon Challenge provides members opportunities to tackle leadership positions within the chapter and campus community, as well as develop a sense of civility. Lastly, members in the Brother Mentor Challenge will focus on their experience after college and will begin developing professional skills for the working world.
