going through recruitment again
by: Disheartened transfer JnrWent through formal recruitment this year, got a bid from an organization I really didn't want to be a part of, and dropped that morning. Seeing as you have to wait an entire calendar year, would it make sense to try again as a senior? Do I have any other options this fall semester? Has anyone else gone through this?

You only have to wait a year if u ACCEPTED a bid through formal recruitment. If u want to wait a year, u can though. Going through recruitment as a senior isn't a big deal. Plenty of women do it. If u don't want to wait a year some sororities may participate in informal recruitment this semester and/or in Spring

When you choose your choices on preference night you agree to a contract called Mr. ABA, which means that if you don't like your bid on bid day, you have to wait a full calendar year. If you didn't drop before you chose on pref night then you have to wait till next fall.
