rush week

I had a similar situation going through but sometimes it's what each sorority is looking for themselves. If you still got called back, give them a chance! They saw in you something the others didn't.

I dropped the process my freshman year, rushed again, and found my home. If you have a strong gut feeling, go for it. Im so happy I did

Its true, if they saw something in you then give them a chance on friday. Why drop the process and do it next year when we'll probably just drop you again cause we remember you.

each sorority has different things they look for in the girls they recruit. you may have clicked with one girl but whether you get called back or not depends on your conversations with various girls at each party among some other factors. you can either drop and rush next year or go through informal recruitment done in the spring if they do it this year. However if you chose to go all the way until the end and get offered a bid on bid day, you cannot rush any other sorority for a year so just look out for that. Don't feel too bad, it took me a few times to find my home. Best of luck :)

Your gpa may not be high enough please consider that. It also is a factor to consider whether you stood out to us or not, what subjects you were talking about, body language, and self confidence. Also whether you're rushing as an underclass vs upperclassman. Those are all things to consider. Maybe you will fit better! Plz remember to always keep an open mind.

If you're not a freshmen you automatically get dropped byeeeee!

Do not feel bad, I'll be completely honest. Sometimes our system messes up and drops great girls, sadly. Do not feel bad about yourself, please get a high GPA, I'm talking 3.5 or better and try rerushing in fall. Please do not let this bring you down.

Look - there were heavy cuts all around last night. You're only going to get one bid. And sometimes, there's only one chapter on your list. That is okay! Go get to really know Tri Sigma. Think about how you can help to make that chapter stronger and better. They really are super sweet and nice. And sometimes it's not so much that you need to go Greek. It's that our Greek community needs someone like you to make it better.

To the girls saying she should go throuh again after having dropped her, that's a little wrong. As sorority women, you should know better.

I'm sorry the week didn't turn out the way you hoped. I went through recruitment the first time and I was left with two I didn't want. The next year I Went through again. I wore fancy clothes with a face full of makeup to impress them. I was dropped by everyone. So I found my home a year ago through a new sorority On campus. Dont go crawling back to those that can't initially see how wonderful you are. My organization saw something in me from the beginning.
