new sorority

does anyone know what sorority we will get next year?? just wondering because FGCU already knows whos coming in 2018

FIU's greek life isn't adding anyone until 2018. Ans even if so, it would probably be Alpha Phi and ADPi with an additional new one trying to colonize

Adpi would most likely not be coming, too similar to Phi Mu. Greek life isn't large enough yet to not be adding more diverse chapters and to be adding similar chapters

The campus is not currently open for NPC expansion. The expansion plan was not stacked when Alpha Chi was invited. Whether another sorority is needed immediately will depend on the size of quota after formal recruitment and average chapter total. It is generally best to let a new sorority have 2 formal recruitments before having another colony (which could mean after formal in 2016). There is no sorority already stacked for the next colony.

If and when the campus decides to open, interested orgs submit packets and the committee invites the 2-4 to make presentations on campus. You will not know which of the NPCs will be interested until the PHC decides to open.

Sororities apply to be considered to join campus but only AFTER council votes on whether we should add a new one. then each visit and every current sorority votes from this campus. it is a very lengthy process that probably won't happen within the next five years.
