Why are so many Sig Ep members throughout Florida failing to meet standards?

SigEp in FIU isn't currently in any problems with standards. The review they had basically just gave them a refresh and left people that are willing to work on building the fraternity back up. From what I have heard they have a pretty good group of guys but they lack in numbers.

Correct. There is a good core of leadership now that the chapter has separated itself from those who weren't able to uphold the oath of obligation.

if I want to rush Sig Ex, do I first have go through Sig Ep membership? Or is there a straight path to pledge Sig Ex?

Anybody that knows greeklife knows SigEp was pretty irrelevant the past year and a half or so. Maybe this new era they might actually become a solid all around fraternity.

The only people that though Sigep was good a year ago was Sigep. Beta was better than you guys.
