how do littles and bigs work in sororities and fra
by: kmjI'll be an incoming freshman this fall and was wondering how the big/little sister thing works and also how recruitment and rush week goes? i went to one of the pre recruitment events a few weeks ago but no one seemed to want to stray away from the "theme" of the event to really answer my questions. Also what are some of the sororities/fraternities known for here at FIU?

These are great questions to ask during recruitment! Each house does big/little in their own way and values it differently; you should ask and find the system that works best for you! Recruitment is over two weekends where you visit every chapter to learn about their sisterhood and their values and in the end select whichever one is best for you. Try contacting Panhellenic or following them on fb for more details!
