transferring

by: Curious

I'm a sigma kappa at a small school and I'm considering transferring. How welcoming are chapters about transfers? Also, could anyone describe Greek life in general here and the social scene/life? I'm not from Florida and it's going to be a completely different world and I would love some info about the school/people/social life scene in general thanks!

I am a relatively new dove but I am so sure that our whole chapter will make you feel as comfortable and awesome as ever! We are super accepting of everyone! And you're a Sigma Kappa.. You're obviously great so don't stress it. (; <3
There's always a lot going on in Greek life and FIU in general and, if not, people are ALWAYS going out.
It's a big school but Im sure you'll love it.

I'm close to Sigma Kappa, they know how to have a good time and are some of the most down to earth girls I've chilled with at FIU.

The Greek Community at FIU is quite diverse and unique relative to other communities across the state. Some practices may even seem a little far from the norm for you, but altogether you'll love the new family here. Welcome!
