sororities’ stance against tke
by: ClearI just want to make it clear regarding the stance the sororities took against TKE. The PC President (Dphie) wrote the letter HERSELF, no other sorority woman helped from my knowledge. Aoii, Axid, SK & PhiMu all signed without hesitation. AChiO & PhiSig took their time reading the letter. AChiO voted as a chapter to sign the document so every sister had a chance to voice her opinion & waited for headquarters approval. They have a different rules they need to follow because of HQ. Before they could sign the pledge, an Axid leaked the document onto the HerCampus article she wrote. One for which she should updated so it includes ALL of the organizations that signed the statement. She threatened PC that she would leak the statement BTW. She has a hatred towards TKE so you shouldn’t be surprised that she didn’t let AChiO + PhiSig sign & published her hit piece. What do you expect? She’s a Sammy girl. PhiSig wrote their own statement because their philo sweetheart is a TKE & TKE’s philo sweetheart is a PhiSig. They had to adjust the statement obviously. Women from both organizations did take a stance against the boys of TKE. Someone just couldn’t wait to get clicks on her article. FYI Dphie, Aoii, Axid, PhiMu, SK & PhiSig are all still inviting TKEs to their events. Only sorority I’ve seen actually try to stop TKEs from coming to their events is AChiO. Even though some got through because their alum & not considered active brothers. Women from all sororities are still wearing clothing related to the chapter TKE has here on campus. If you really wanted to teach TKE a lesson you all would’ve followed what the PC President wrote. So stop bashing on PhiSig and AchiO please. It’s very disheartening to see and read the comments fellow Greek women are writing. Talk to sisters of both organizations to get the facts. That’s all I have to say.
