sapphire?

So i'm new to greek life and noticed that Phi Delt calls several girls Sapphires.. is this kinda like sweetheart? theres more than on tho i'm pretty sure

Sapphires is the same as Sammy Girls, Diamond Ladies, TKE Carnations, Pi Kapp Ladies, etc. They are not sweethearts, but are loved like one but not as much. Hope this helped.

Frats here have a core group of girls who come around the most, help out, and are respected and well liked by the chapter. Those girls are given a title by the fraternity and sometimes one of them goes on to win sweetheart. But I think it's just an FIU thing.

Yes, those we name Sapphires are ladies who deserve our recognition and love because they have shown us they care about us, and are worthy of representing our organization.

It's a national thing. Some other chapters call the women other titles. Not just an FIU thing! You go through their instagrams to find out more info
