informal recruitment
by: :)))I'm transferring in the fall and want to join a sorority. Do all sororities go through informal recruitment? Or can someone tell me which ones went through it last year? just want a general idea.

Not all sororities go through Spring recruitment. Only organizations that are not at quota. So, in my opinion, id suggest you go through formal recruitment either this year or next, just to play safe. If the organization you like is going through spring, thats fine. Formal recruitment is just better because you give a fair opportunity to every organization. :) Hope that helps

I recommend formal recruitmwnt this Fall if you can do it. If not, some sororities might do informal in the Fall and/or spring. It varies from semester to semester and year to year. If you're interested in getting to know all of the PC sororities then I highly recommend formal recruitment. Good luck on finding your home! :)
