asa & ast are just fine

It disgusts me to see that everyone considers ASA & AST to be "lower" sororities. Honestly these two houses might not be completely full of super hot girls that spend all their time partying and worrying what they look like, but they are your average girls. They are down to earth and are the kind of girls that you will be best friends for ever with. They don't back-stab each other and they are nice to EVERYONE, no matter what sorority. For the most part, if you are nice to them, they are nice to you. Of course every sorority has their brats, but I think it is very unfair to be so cruel to them. What have they ever done to you? I've heard girls at school from almost every other sorority talking crap about them, and it is an embarrassment to the EIU Greek system. It makes me want nothing to do with Greek life when I see how mean the sororities are towards each other - they all live on Greek row and they want NOTHING to do with each other!!! If it makes you feel better to belittle these sororities that are doing nothing but trying to be themselves and be proud of it, then I feel sorry for you. I congratulate the Greek girls who are open to others and accept everyone. Just because two houses aren't just like you doesn't mean they are doing anything wrong.
