if you come into rush not knowing any sorority girls, do you still have a good chance of getting into a house? Would you have to be really unsocial to not get a bid or does that happen a lot?

I mean it always helps to know somebody in the house, but I went in only knowing one girl beforehand and I loved rush!

I knew absolutely no one! I went through Rush and met so many great people. The house I finally chose was and is awesome. Don't worry, have fun and be yourself. You'll find your Greek home.

The most important thing is to have decent grades and a GREAT personality.

Nearly everyone gets a bid so I doubt you'll have to worry about that! Just be yourself, and I'm sure you'll end up where you belong!! Like some of the other replies said, it does help knowing girls but its definitely not something you should stress about.

Pretty much everybody with decent grades who sticks it out will get into a sorority at OSU. But a lot of girls drop out when they don't get invited back to their favorites.
