You don't have to be in Greek to make friends at OSU. Join a spirit club or any of the hundreds of other clubs on campus. Get involved in your major's organization. People that don't make friends in college don't because they didn't make the effort to. Are you Greek at your current school? Were you able to make friends there? I would say rushing as a Junior might be pretty tough but not impossible but I would not count out the spirit clubs.

You should still rush. As soon as you transfer, start attending all of the philanthropy events and get to know the girls. I would attend more than just GPhi. Don't limit yourself. Don't get me wrong. GPhi is a great house but there is no guarantee you will get them, so get to know everyone!

Good luck, Kiki. While juniors do get bids, the concentration is on freshman and sophomore to some degree. Do as described above. Get to know people. Network. Go to functions. Put yourself out there and market yourself. It is more work on your part as an upperclassman coming in.
But do not get your heart broken. If you are not given a bid (and I do hope that you are), do consider joining a spirit club or some organization that can use your assets. All Cowboys have value. Welcome to the Orange World and Go Pokes.
