It's only been a thing the past few years. Once put on Social Probation a lot dropped because they didn't see the point in paying dues when there was no social benefit. The guys who drop still hang out with the chapter, so they don't lose the brotherhood aspect, just financial obligation. I don't see any dropping this year now that they're off sopro
