I would give it a try as well. I know a gal that is at UT and had no connections going in and ended up AXiD, She was not thrilled with it on bid day, but decided to give it a try. She too, didn't feel a connection at first. She is sooooo glad she stuck with it. She has met some amazing women and has made connections. Some connections happen quickly and some grow slower. Sisterhood is a great part of greek like. Who cares if you don't make Follies or win the campus events. Making bonds for life, having a sisterhood transcends all that peripheral stuff. AXiD is new at OSU. Be a part of the beginning and growth!

There are other houses that are considered top houses that don't win campus events either. It's the participation that is the fun. Learning to work with others and enjoy your sisters is the point anyway.
