A PiPhi was the OP. A kappa or Theta could make an argument that they ranked them higher than GPB but no way could a PiPhi make that argument. PiPhis are still trying to group themselves with top tier and everyone knows they are bottom of middle tier now.

I've never thought chiO was the top house. I always thought of them as bible thumping, crunchy, wet blankets. Them making you read their creed during rush while they stare at you was awkward. I always thought of them on a level of their own and not in a good way.

I don't get the big deal about Chios either. They are a kind of weird and not in a good way.

There is no denying Gamma Phi is a top house. Sounds like some members of other groups might be feeling insecure about that.

I'm not a Chi O, but just so you know, it is all about percentages. There are probably people who dropped every single house at one time or another. Not every house is right for everyone.

BUT return rates look at percentages. If a higher percentage accept a party invitation to one house than another, that house is more popular - more people like it.

If 99% of pnms want to be invited back to Chi O and only 10% want to be invited back to AZD, you can say Chi O has higher return rates and is more popular. It doesn't matter that YOU didn't like them and they didn't appeal to you.

Also, you're overlooking the fact that Chi O probably didn't invite you back either. They probably knew it wouldn't be a good fit.

Why do you call Chi Os grannies? Just because they study and are involved at OSU? Most of us call that successful.

Grades are important to me. Very much so, but honestly, and nothing personal against Chi O, but their vibe during 1st round was almost zealot. The two girls I spoke with her very nice and I connected with the second one better, but I didn't cluster them, I ranked them 1 though. I Could not see myself there at all. I really liked Gphi after first round but they cut me for 2nd round but I still had my top 2-5 houses on my schedule. I still went to the maximum parties every round and and ended up in the 2 house. I am overwhelmed with how much stuff we do and stressed out beyond belief with sorority stuff and class work. I cannot imagine how stressful it would be if I were in an "active" house.

If you were cut by gphi you were probably cut by chio too. They could probably see that you weren't agile enough to study and be so active. Active houses aren't for everyone. That's one reason gphi has gotten to be a top house. They're both great houses but it just depends on how busy you want to be.

ha ha I doubt that she cares if people like Chi O if she's like me, she only cares if they're on greekrank constantly running down one house or another. If you don't like some house say it once then get off.

I agree. I have met girls in all the houses and I can honestly say, I like them. I haven't really met anyone that I can't stand. I may not want to be bffl's with all of them, but I just hate how much people hate on other houses on here.

personally I question someone my grandma's age being on here wanting to reminisce about how amazing their house ranked back in the day. Most alums say that rank isn't important, it's all about sisterhood. She just sounds like she's a social climber.
