I'm curious too.

There isn't an average. Some legacies fit in with a house, some don't. We give ALL our legacies a better chance, but it doesn't mean you will become a member. Sometimes you will just fit in better in another house. Trust me, the system works

Depends on the year, the house, it could be one, it could be nine hundred. There is no way to answer that question

The system does work, as much as some girls don't like it because they are hung up on not getting a popular sorority. I know two girls from my HS who went to the "other" school in OK. Neither had the houses they wanted after skit day and they dropped. They were girls in HS who thought they were all that and when it came to them relying on their own, they quit when they didn't get what they wanted, when in reality, they probably would have grown and matured into great women in any of the two houses they has left. But they will never know because they quit. Another friend went to UT with no legacy or connections and while cut from all the ones she thought she wanted, ended up AXiD. While she didn't feel a strong connection with them all week, she is really having a lot of fun this week with them and is actually happy where she is.
