KD is not a top 5 house. In fact they're below Pi Phi and Pi Phi has been slipping every year. KD attracts girls who can't get a top house for lots of reasons, are not attractive enough to get AXO, are not fun enough to get Zeta, are too "unfit" to get Pi Phi, etc. They try to get ones that sang in the school choir so they can participate in shows. That's KD.
