I know everyone wants to be in a top house and don't get me wrong they were nice but they girls at like zeta phi Mu and kappa delta made me feel less nervous. Everyone is so nice here at OSU

It's not about what everyone wants. It is about what you want. Keep an open mind and see what happens. You may get completely different feelings the next day or have it solidified your feelings. It will all work out.

My daughter hated all the "top" houses-- she said they felt shallow and superficial. Her three favorites were Phi Mu, Zeta, and TriDelt. She just accepted a bid from Phi Mu.

sorry I might not have all the names right-- she did change her mind a few times during recruitment
And maybe hated is too strong a word for what she felt for some of the sororities, but she did prefer some over others

Sorry she didn't like some of the houses, but at OSU, all our sororities are good. It's too bad she found some shallow and superficial. In a 20 minute party when you have to be bumped several times, it's hard to be too in depth. I hope she wasn't too harsh about them.

I'm glad your daughter connected with those houses. They are GREAT houses! She did the best thing, she followed her gut and went with the house that suited her! Congratulations to all the houses for amazing pledge classes!!

When people talk about the "top houses" which ones do they mean?

They're referring to the popular ones, Kappa, Theta, GPhi, Chio, etc. does NOT mean the other ones are not well liked, they are.
