will any sororities take girls with a 2.5 gpa if they had circumstances and the gpa is not a reflection of who they really are

A lot of houses have GPA requirements that are stated in the handbook, it is rare for them to be lenient especially since a 2.5 is well below most of the houses required GPA. I would recommend spring rush or waiting until next fall.

AXO will take a grade risk if she's otherwise outstanding. I don't know if they'd go that low, but you could try.
