gamma phi beta discussion

In my opinion ChiO, KKG and GPhi have the sweetest girls that are smart and involved. That was a wonderful position for your daughter to be in. All three are awesome houses!

Just wondering, why are you on this site?

If I might speak for her, it is because she is interested in the people her daughter has affiliated with. Her daughter is lucky to have a parent who cares. Many don't. She doesn't appear to be overbearing, just giving her opinion like everyone else on here.

Do you people not know that this is an anonymous site? You don't have any idea who's posting. It's even worse if you know that and still post catty remarks about how you know who it is that is posting.

I went on here to try and figure out which house I would fit in best, but it's so inaccurate that I have no idea what's true and what's false. And I'm also getting the idea that I still won't see the real girls during rush..that I'll find out later. :(

You will be able to tell which house you will fit in during recruitment. Just know that the top houses cut girls right off with low GPA's. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of community service, your popular or great at sports if you have a low GPA! If you have a high GPA you can't go wrong with any of the top houses. ChiO is the most religious but they all have religous girls. GPhi, PiPhi, KKG and ChiO seem to be the most popular during recruitment. All the girls want in one of those houses! Just know going in that if you don't have the grades you won't get in one of those houses!

I have a question and I mean this with no disrespect a all. I was just looking because I have a family friend going through rush. When I went through Rush in the 80's, G Phi had the most impressive girl I met but I didn't pledge because it was a bottom 3 house at the time. I know they remodeled the house, but what did G Phi do to move so far up in the rankings?

My mom said they were a middle house when she rushed. Through the years, they've gotten better and better pledge classes and have gradually improved so that now they're top 3 in my opinion. I'm in my legacy house, but I had Gamma Phi for pref too. I loved them and would have been just as happy in that house. In fact my very best friend in the world is a Gamma Phi.

Gphi isn't a top house anymore. Tell me one good thing they have done? The true top houses are ChiO,PiPhi,Theta,Kappa,KD
