To most people Kappa, G Phi and maybe Pi Phi are the top houses. Theta has really been struggling but they are still considered a top house. To most people ChiO is not anything like the other top houses. Chi O is attractive to girls who are religious. Not that the the other houses aren't religious because they all have groups that go to church, it's just ChiO is primarily religious girls who do not drink. It would be uncomfortable for a less religious girl because they are extremely different than the other houses. For the ones that fit in - it's perfect. For others that just want to be a part of a good house, they may hate it.

Evenyone know G Phi is not a top 5 house. They are not known for anything and haven't been for a long time. KD is so much better than them in every area.

Historically Pi Phi, Theta, Chi O and Kappa have been the top 4. Different houses have been 5 or 6 through the years - GPhi, Zeta, Alpha Chi, KD and even Tri Delta. It changes through the years. If you don't like the top 4 or can't get in then just go where you feel comfortable. All the other 7 houses are very good. Do not listen to rumors or gossip because it's always false and just made up to make others look good. All the chapters are strong and have a nice mix of girls.

This website has been hi-jacked by bitter and jealous girls. I am in a middle tier house and LOVE it. Don't think you have to be in a top house because that's not true. All the houses are great. This is truly how it is:

The top 5 houses in what ever order you choose for yourself:

PiPhi, ChiO, Theta, Kappa, GPhi

But, those houses take girls with top grades and we all know there are a bunch of top girls without top grades. Those girls go to these houses in whatever order they choose:

KD,Zeta, AXO

And there are wonderful girls who don't go to those houses so they go to these houses in whatever order they choose:

PM, DDD, ADPi

Because, truly, every house is great at OSU and the experience of being in a sorority is one that you can't get in any other way. Stick with rush even if your favorite house drops you. You'll be glad you did. I promise! I'm so glad I did!

PNM's beware during recruitment of any house that talks poorly of another house. Top houses don't do that! They don't have to.

To Kappa Delta: I used to support KD but not anymore. They have proved they are the ones trying to make Kappa, Gphi, PiPhi and Theta look bad. You girls are no where a top house and making up rumors and saying lies on these houses is not going to work. I even have been saying the middle tier was KD,Zeta,AXO every time someone put ZETA first. But guess what you have been out right trying to ruin my house and the other top houses. You have a different target each week and now you're after Kappa and GPhi. Glad your off my house but Kappa and GPhi are so far out of your league it's not even funny. Why don't you get off this site and spend time on your own house. You need it. Also, you can forget about any of the top houses supporting you now!

I agree that there are a top 5 but some of them are definitely less involved than others.
