I would get them if you can! It always helps, it just depends on the house on how much.

You need to talk to new people. I think the people you're talking to are steering you wrong. G Phi deserves their spot in the top five, they have great girls, do well in shows, usually do well in homecoming, etc. not to mention they have great return rates during rush so are obviously a PNM favorite. KD is not in the top 5. I'm not sure what's going on with this site but in real life-no one thinks they are a top 5 house. Look at who they pair with for homecoming..middle of the road house, 6 or 7.

I hope that when I rush I can tell which girls are the mean ones bashing other sororities on this site. I just want to make friends at college, and this just seems too dramatic. I promise you don't need to try and ruin other sororities reputations to make your sorority seem better, I've heard wonderful things about all the houses. All this site is doing is confusing us PNMs.

The comments could be from people who don't even go to OSU or it might be a girl that was cut from the top houses and they are bitter. You will be able to tell which houses are the top 5 and they will be the most popular during recruitment. Girls need to know that top houses (Chi-O, Kappa, PiPhi and GPhi) are extremely selective and cut girls right off that don't have a 3.5 or higher. They take 2-3 girls with gpa's between 3.2-3.4 that have a lot of community service, leadership and absolutely no reputation issues. Some of these houses made some exceptions a couple years ago and learned it was a bad idea. Therefore they are more strict with their selection process and don't make exceptions anymore. That makes some girls bitter. Just know ALL the houses are great...top or not. You will have a great time, make life long friends and create wonderful memories.

girls need to know that they should listen to their hearts. In my opinion G Phi is not a top house. You can tell they are on this site all of the time trying to seem as if they are. KD is a much classier house. Go and find out for yourselves.

Look how many times G Phi has had to rank themselves in order to stay in the top 5.... very telling.

i'm a chi-o and i'm sticking up for kd right now... homecoming is NOT the only thing that decides whether you're a top house or not. kd does amazing things.. so what if hoco isn't their "thing". Every house has something that isn't their "thing".

Let me start by saying that I think that KD is a good house. But, I still don't think that they are in the top 5...I also agree that homecoming is not what makes a top house either, but it does contribute. OSU is very competitive because ALL the houses are so great. But, there is a top 5, and KD is not in it.

I'm a KD and I'm completely appalled with the person who seems to be trying on here to persuade PNMs that KD is better than G Phi. It is widely recognized that G Phi is a top house - top5, top 3 or something. KD is not. We purposefully don't compete with the top sororities. We like different girls. The top houses do different things than we do. It's not a competition because we want different things. Please stop all the comments about KD. We like flying under the radar and doing our own thing.
