Yes. They are a must have at least in the top houses. Most girls get them for all houses.

These ranking are clearly off for the top 5. Based on Panhellenic and academic rankings it would be Chi-0 or Pi Phi first, Theta 3rd, Kappa 4th and Gamma Phi 5th. Do a little research and you'll find out this is true!

I have done the research and based on what you said (Panhellenic and academics) Theta would be last of the top 5. I also feel Theta is the least popular of the top 5. ChiO, Kappa, GPhi and PiPhi get the top girls and in my opinion Kappa, PiPhi and GPhi are the most popular during recruitment. ChiO is in its own catagory to me. They aren't for everyone.

That was definitely true for my recruitment group. There was one girl that everyone knew would be a Chi O. She had XO, PBP, and GPB for pref. The other girls who got to choose all the way through had PBP, GPB, and KKG. The ones who had been released from on of those had KAT. I would rank like this:

PBP, GPB, KKG (in no order)
