you don't really know anything about the inner workings of any house until your in it, even during recruitment. please please please keep an open mind during recruitment and don't get so set on one house before you even go. some houses and girls can surpirse you.

You will be able to tell which house you will fit in during recruitment. Just know that the top houses cut girls right off with low GPA's. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of community service, your popular or great at sports..if you have a low GPA you will be cut! They can't cut legacies until the third day but they will cut you if you don't have the grades. (They take 3.5 or higher and they take 3 to 5 exceptions with 3.2 or higher). If you have a high GPA you can't go wrong with any of the top houses. ChiO is the most religious but they all have religous girls. GPhi, KKG, PiPhi and ChiO seem to be the most popular during recruitment. All the girls want in one of those houses! Just know going in that if you don't have the grades you won't get in one of those houses! Not all girls have the grades but they are leaders, pretty, etc. Therefore, ALL the houses have leaders, pretty girls, etc. ALL THE HOUSES HAVE GREAT THINGS TO OFFER and you will love being a part of sorority.

absolutely NO WAY kappa is that high. they are def below theta and gphi!

zeta should not be that high

Theta is the least favorite of the top 5 if they even are a top 5 anymore. Kappa and GPhi are two of the most favorites along with Pi Phi. ChiO is in its own catagory to most people.

I agree with the comment that said Chi-O is in its own catagory. Pi Phi, Kappa and Gamma Phi are the most desired (in no order) Theta is also popular. The thing with the top 5 houses is that they only take girls with high GPA's. It doesn't matter how popular, community service they did or leadership, if they don't have the grades they will be cut. They mostly take girls with 3.5 or higher and a few with 3.2 or higher. That's just how it is. That's why it is important for pnm's to know ALL the houses are wonderful and have a lot to offer.

this website is ridiculous. it is only girls that are bitter and like to start drama. majority of the comments on here are not remotely true. just come through recruitment and take a feel for what is right for YOU! it may be a top, middle, or bottom house but in the end it doesn't matter. the only thing that matters is that you feel comfortable because our greek system is awesome.
