definately a "top 5". Everyone knows it and all the girls will be able to tell during recruitment. All the houses have something to offer and some girls might not think they fit in the top 5 houses or don't have the grades, etc. Every girl will have a great experience in whatever house she ends up. However, lets be real...there is definately a top 5 at OSU and they are the most popular and desired houses during recruitment.

That's why one of the "middle tier houses" got a pledge class of 52 girls last year without snap bids and a "top house" had to go though continuous open recruitment. This is because they are most popular and desired houses right?

You have no idea what top houses do! You are obviously in a middle tier house! Top 5 houses in the end have the best girls! That is just how it is!!!

ALL the houses have AMAZING girls, not just the top ones! Goodness! BE CLASSY girls! We ALL are Greek and ALL go OSU! stop making us look bad!

Everyone is really saying the same thing. There's a place for everyone in a wonderful house at OSU. Not everybody is the same and not all houses are alike. The top 5 thing is that those houses usually take the girls that have top grades, looks, social connections, activities, and personality. Lots of other girls have varying degrees of those things, but the top 5 take the girls that have them all. But there are amazing girls who don't make top grades, and amazing girls who weren't on the pom squad in HS, and amazing girls who aren't National Merit. They may not end up in a top 5 house, but the house that gets them is lucky.

Kappa Kappa Gamma-Involved house with gorgeous girls.
Gamma Phi Beta-Pretty girls, like to have fun!
Pi Beta Phi-Very smart girls who are known to be athletic
Kappa Alpha Theta-Pretty girls, seen around campus a lot.
Zeta Tau Alpha-Good mix of girls, and had a very successful year last year
Alpha Delta Pi-Good mixture of girls, they have improved A LOT the last couple of years!
Kappa Delta-Had a good year last year, very spunky girls
Delta Delta Delta-they have improved so much! Definitely getting more involved
Phi Mu-Pretty girls!

In the end, every house is successful in its own way. Top 5 or not, every house at OSU is about sisterhood. Look for the house that you feel that YOU will be apart of and where you will love your sisters! Every house at Oklahoma State is great in their own ways.

For any girl about to enter recruitment please be careful when reading the reviews on this website! There is something positive and negative to say about every chapter. Recruitment is about finding the house that fits your personality, NOT the house that thousands of scorned ex-boyfirends or GDIs or houses themselves have posted as the correct house. It is true that each house is very different and do, at times, fit their stereo-type, but that's what makes OSU greek life so great... We're all different! If you want to have an enjoyable (i.e. a stress-free) recruitment and end the week with the perfect Bid Day then PLEASE leave this website now and wait till August 8th to start judging chapters. Or at least listen to the previous commenter "The Truth" who can see the positives in every house.
Side note: OSU has more of a Top 3 not a Top 5. The Top 5 changes too much to say for certain. The Top 3 here is off by 1 important house. Which proves this site is inaccurate! LEAVE

Yes, I agree that recruitment is where girls should judge houses. It will be very obvious which houses are the top houses. Yes, I agree with "The Truth!" comment below. No, there is NOT a top 3 at OSU. I have been here for 3 years and it has ALWAYS been a top 5. It is a top 5 because they ALL are great houses with their own pros and cons.

There is definately a top 5 because everyone has different likes and dislikes and different oppinions on the order they would be in. This is why the top 5 are all at the same level with their own pros and cons. They should all support eachother and be true leaders in the great greek system we have at OSU. The truth again:

My favorite top houses during recruitment last year were Gamma Phi and Kappa. However, I didn't end up in a top house at all. At first I was upset but I really love the house I am in and just want every girl to know you don't have to be in a top house to be happy. Every girl should just go to recruitment and have fun. Where ever you end up you will have a great experience. There isn't a bad house at OSU. They're all great and have great things to offer.
