Pi Phi is on probation now and will be this coming year. They were put on probation in May.

well, i'm going to say something nice about all the houses, because they are ALL GREAT!

Chi O-great group of girls who are very smart!
Pi Phi-again, very smart--great at athletics and good mix of girls!
Theta-gorgeous girls who are very involved!
Kappas-pretty wholesome girls!
Gamma Phi-gorgeous girls who i always see on campus!
KDs-"girls next door" who are so sweet!
ADPis-sweet girls, and their house has really improved!
ZTA-great mix of girls who are really involved and have improved so much!
Tri Deltas-amazing girls who have a great mix! they are improving so much!!!
Phi Mus-pretty girls who are really sweet!
Alpha Chi-pretty girls who are really involved on campus!

The OSU greek system is really great, and EVERY house has something to offer to the girls about to go through recruitment!

EVERYONE WILL HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS!! BOTTOM LINE THIS IS HOW IT IS:
1. Chi O, Gamma Phi, Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi (top 5 in no particular order)
2. KD, ZTA
3. AXO. PM, ADPi, DDD

Please tell what is going on with Pi Phi. I'm rushing this year and just found this site. I thought I wanted Pi Phi until I saw they were on probation. I guess it's pretty common but I want to know what they're in trouble for. Someone please help!

i like your idea of positive things about each house!
chi-o: always top for grades, very wholesome.
pi-phi: very classy girls and involved.
theta: involved around campus.
g-phi: nice girls that like to have fun.
kd: great with shows this year, sweet girls.
zeta: down-to-earth girls, good at homecoming.
adpi: really getting more involved around campus.
ddd- got a great pc '09 and has improved so much this year.
phi-mu: pretty girls, like to have fun.
axo- fun girls that like to have a good time.

I think we should be saying great things about each house instead of placing them into pointless tiers. Some people seem to think that houses not in the "top 5" are awful and that the girls not in them are jealous and not great girls. Every house at OSU is really great and each girl will feel right at home!

I agree with "truth" but the way it really is is like this regardless of the pros and cons of each house:
1. Chi O, Gamma Phi, Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi (top 5 in no particular order)
2. KD, ZTA
3. AXO. PM, ADPi, DDD
They ALL have pros and cons but as far as popularity this is how it truly is.

Popularity is all based on opinion. The Top 5 are great houses, but after that, its all fair game between KD ZTA ADPi, AXO, PM, and DDD. They change every year, and DDD and ADPi have improved leaps and bounds, so they may be more popular this year.

I agree that the top 5 houses are the most desired. However, there is definately three tiers. KD, Zeta and Alpha Chi get the girls after the top 5. Then ADPi, PhiMu and DDD get the rest. I also do not see any improvement in DDD and I think most would agree. However, I do see some improvement in ADPi.

I agree with every thing you say but I do not think Alpha Chi is in the second tier. I think they are in the bottom tier for sure.
