what happened with phi pi to get them on probation?

Are they not going to get to participate in any campus events? What happens with the fraternities they're partnered with?

That makes two out of the top 5 that are on probation. What's going on here?

Kappa isn't anymore and Theta isn't anymore either! Just Pi Phi will be this next year. It isn't a bad thing it just makes the houses stronger and they are usually put on probation because their standards are higher than other houses. That is a good thing and just makes them better!

There are a lot of reasons for chapters to be on social probation - if you're going through Recruitment this year, don't allow something like that to keep you from enjoying the conversation or change your view about a chapter. Every house has their ups and downs, and often times, it is the mistake of one person that puts the entire chapter in a situation like social probation.

I'd say it is because their standards are lower that they get social probation. It may be just a few girls, but I'm not sure that makes a chapter stronger either. I'd say Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta have a lot of ground to make up if they want to stay in the top 5.

I agree with "@wrong"---you don't see the "Bottom" or "lower tier" houses (as some people put it) getting on probation, and they still win events and have great girls.

OK in this last year we had Pi Phi, Theta, and Kappa on probation. So that's not cool. Even if they're off by now it isn't good of those houses to mess up. Clean up your acts!
