So, it turns out that Zeta is is the one hating on other houses. Look at the 6-8 comments. The only positive comment (all 5s) is Zeta. The other rated houses are all negative. Note to Zeta: This doesn't make people like your house better. It just shows a giant lack of class.

Are you kidding me? I wrote the 5s comment on zeta and I am in a different house but my best friend is a zeta! You are pretty ridiculous for pointing fingers and I think you need to stop with false accusations. Just because a house gets a positive comment doesn't mean they are self ranking or rating others down.

For certain PNMs going through rush, all the houses will be interested in rushing them. They are the ones with the high grades, lots of activities from high school, good looks, family or friend connections, etc. Those are the "desirable" girls because all the houses want them. Those girls will mostly choose from 5 houses: Chi O, Gamma Phi, Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta. They will choose the house where they feel most comfortable. If any of these houses have to snap bid it is because they are all chasing the same girls and some years more go for one house over another. The rest of the girls will generally choose between the others. KD, Zeta, and AXO will take the next most desirable girls, and DDD, Phi Mu, and ADPi will take the next tier of girls. Often outstanding girls go with lower ranked houses because they feel comfortable there, so this isn't any hard and fast rule. Anyway, PNMs shouldn't be tricked by this site. Without the right stuff you're not gonna be in a top 5 house.

I agree with most of what you said, but I don't think KD and AXO get the second tier girls. I think after the top 5, its pretty much fair game.

I agree with "Top 5". I am in a top 5 house and we only takes girls with 3.5 or higher GPA and with no reputation issues. Then we look at leadership and looks. If you don't have high grades you won't get in Chi-O, Pi Phi, Kappa, Gamma Phi or Theta.

I agree! PNM's just need to know that just because you're a legacy doesn't mean you get automatically get in that house. If you have low grades or reputation issues, you won't get in a top 5 house even if you're a legacy or have connections.

every house at osu has something to offer to PNMs. each PNM should ignore what they hear during recruitment from other girls and go in the direction that they choose and feel must comfortable with. just because there is what people consider to be a "top 5," doesnt mean that those are the only houses that you would ever want to be in. the houses below the "top 5" are still great and have things to offer that the top 5 houses might not. just remember to go into recruitment with an open mind and ignore the lies that this website spreads!

I sort of agree. I would say do pay some attention to this site. I wish I'd known about it. I ended up in a top 5 house and am fine, but there were ones that I liked too, that in retrospect I'd have hated. I'm not the biggest partier, so being in a house whose reputation is partying would have been less fun. I still would have made some friends, but I'd always feel like I had to explain that I wasn't like that. Doesn't hurt to know.
