sorority comments

here's an idea: every greek from OSU, why don't we just all stop coming to the website and eventually it will probably shut down. i was curious about this website so i came to it, i'm sure most of you are the same way. if everyone would stop bashing other houses it would make the greek community look so much better at ostate. we are leaders on campus, so lets all start acting like it. every house has something to offer, the "top 5" houses go in cycles with each new pledge class. don't argue over that sort of thing. we are all great.

I agree that all the houses need to support eachother. Start by not accusing a house of bashing others! There are millions of people who get on this website. You can't even be sure that a bad comment is someone from OSU. It could be anyone! Also, just because a house isn't considered a top 5 house doesn't mean it is bad. A lot of girls don't want to be in a house like that. Every girls personality is different and they will end up in a great house regardless if it is a top 5 or not. The top five are Chi-O, Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, Kappa and Theta and I didn't want to be in any of those houses. I'm not saying they're bad they just weren't for me. The house I'm in I love! The girls are really nice and there is great sisterhood. Don't listen to any bad things said on this website because they are lies! Go with an open mind and see where you feel comfortable. I did not feel comfortable in the top 5 houses. I promise all the houses are good.

I found this site as I was researching campus information for my daughter, a legacy from one of your stated "Top 5" houses. I think I will be advising her to not "go greek" next year. What stereotypical nonsense is on this board. Make friends, have fun, accept people. Don't you all have some studying to do?

You must be a Pi Phi. They are a top house, but there are more than you mentioned. The true rankings actually are more like this:
Top tier:
Chi O, Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, Theta, Kappa IN NO ORDER
Upper bottom tier:
Zeta, KD
Bottom tier:
AXO, ADPi, DDD, Phi Mu IN NO ORDER

both of the people are wrong. the top 5 are correct (although kappa is debatable). however, these lists didnt factor in any change that happens within the houses. houses get better each and everyday and the opinions of older members are usually inaccuarate because they base judgements off of things of the past.

Everyone needs to support ALL the OSU Greek houses. All the houses are different--all are unique in their own way. The Top 5 houses are amazing, but the other houses have things to offer every girl wanting to join a sorority. I think OSU houses all offer a great sisterhood.

the "top 5" saying is just a way of making all the houses involved in that feel secure about themselves even though houses change every year, therefore there is no permanent "top 5". Things change every year with people, shows, homecoming, grades, and athletics. So let's all support one another in this terrific greek system we have at OSU!

That all is very true! We have a great greek system here at OSU and the freshman girls coming in will have great houses to join.
