Unfortunately for Tri Delta and KD, a win/place/show at Follies or Spring Sing doesn't mean much when recruitment comes along. Almost every house participates and that's the fun part. So don't look for a Spring Sing win to catapult Tri Delta to #1. Or to #8 or 9. They're probably still going to be where they are now. But congratulations to them anyway. They put on a good show and had fun doing it.

Well, I don't know why he wrote that, but in my opinion, KD is kind of a wannabe house. They pick girls especially for music talent which is fine. They expect those girls to win shows for them, but those girls are not often the ones desirable for any other reason. Houses that are more highly regarded (Chi O, Gamma Phi, Pi Phi, and even Theta) pick girls that are more well rounded, more attractive, more academic, etc. KD is just kind of an artsy house which is fine, they're just not that competitive during recruitment. As for Tri Delta, they pretty much take the girls they can get, so this is huge for them to win. They really deserve congratulations for their efforts.
