Behind the scenes information

Hate to do this but I just have to talk about follies so far. Super disappointed in some pairings but also surprised by some others. Here is my run down so far

Disappointing:
Alpha Chi and Sigma Chi- for houses that typically do decent in shows they just don't work together. The dancing is mediocre and you literally can't hear them sing when they dance. Hopefully they pull it together.

KD and FIJI- I expect KD to have the best vocals and frankly this year it's just not working. I think the directors need to simplify their different singing parts and harmonizing because right now everything is getting lost.

Zeta and AGR- AGR is just not a show house and never has been. It makes me sad because I always enjoy Zeta's creativity and show style. They have definitely fallen victim to a terrible pairing. The boys just don't commit.

Surprising:

KKG and SAE: No offense but Kappas are historically bad at shows. That's why I was shocked when they had the most energy at our last walk around. The little SAEs have bought in and they look like they have a lot of fun together.

Phi Mu and Phi Delt: Don't know what it is about this cast but I just think they are adorable. Seem to work together well and have good chemistry. Also loving their choreography. Even though it is simple it is super cute and effective.

Chi O and Sigma Nu- After VR last year I never expected Sigma Nus to take anything seriously. That's why this pairing works so well. They are funny but also have super clean vocals and dances so far.

Expected:
Pi Phi and Beta- It's gonna be a repeat of VR 2020.

G Phi and Sig Ep- Sig Ep does decent in follies every year and this is no exception. Last year they got screwed but I don't think that will be the case this year. Also the little G Phis can DANCE!

Theta and Farmhouse- Try hards which in follies pays off. Excited to see their final product.

I bet money this is the top three with Chi O sigma nu maybe in the mix.
