pls stop putting this in your shows

ok. super random pet peeve of mine but does anyone else find it incredibly annoying/cringe worthy when shows make “jokes” like “but that was only a dance ago!” “we only have two more numbers to figure it out!”
not an @ for any specific cast bc i genuinely don’t even remember who has lines like this. it just comes across as lazy writing and ruins whatever sense of ~immersion~ the show had to me (which i realize is not common in greek shows, but yktv??)
idk am i just a hater, or do y’all agree? lmk

I think it’s funny if it’s done well, like if you reference how the whole thing is a show multiple times, but if you do it once it’s random and I don’t like it
