Differences between sororities
by: Cobwhat are some of the differences between these sororities: alpha chi omega, tri delta, phi mu, and gamma phi? These are the ones I’m interested but wanted to know what they’re known for/reputation..
#1 by: sorority girl
If you care about rankings or popularity G phi would be the most popular basic “sorority girl” type from that list. A lot of nice and beautiful girls from G phi, but some can be conceited. Frats tend to like these girls a lot. Their house is also very beautiful, if you want to have a gorgeous white mansion to call your home! And their bathrooms… literally so nice.
If you care about partying and going out having a good time alpha chi’s are all about having fun. These girls can be quite clicky, but also very friendly and out going. Very cute and confident girls in this house, their reputation isn’t the most squeaky clean but if you like these girls and get along with them then go a chi o.
If you’re one of those girls who likes to be friends with everyone and are very passionate about their beliefs phi mu maybe be for you! The phi mu’s I know are all very sweet and smart girls but I will warn right now they are having quite the internal drama and are sorting through some issues within their house. Doesn’t mean this a bad house as every house has its problems they’re having a rough patch. Their house is really beautiful but hear rooms can be cramped especially 4 people to one room. If you click with these girls then go phi mu.
if you consider yourself quirky, unique, and service-oriented the tri delta girls are too! The girls I know in tri delt are passionate, and very friendly to others, also some party, some don’t, and a lot of church girls. these girls get along with each other pretty well, laid back house, but don’t go here if you care about being the most “popular” on campus. Also for some reason their rooms are huge?
I’m a junior and know girls from all of these houses but not in any of them so this is just my take on it, but make sure to develop your own opinion by going to their COB events. To make your final decision I’d suggest to see where you feel the most at home and which girls you click the best with.
