In a colony situation, there will be a team from the national org...some national officers, a couple of young alums who serve as chapter development consultants and perhaps some actives from a nearby chapter. Recruitment would most likely include interviews, open invite events and invitation only event/events. Colony groups look for girls across all age groups (they don't want everyone graduating the same year) with good grades, activities, personalities, leadership. There will be lots of support from the national org throughout the first year or more. Being a founding sister of a colony is not for everyone, but rewarding for the right girls.
