help on rushing?
by: OkstatebnsI'll be a sophomore next year and I really want to be in a sorority. Not only do I wanna meet new friends, I want to be Greek so it'll look good for future jobs. I'm a psychology major. I like to think I'm pretty. So any recommendations? I have no idea how to go about doing fall rush or anything like that!

First thing first, GRADES... can't stress that enough, as a soph. You'll need amazing grades to have a shot at you're choice! Second, there are a couple of chapters that usually dont take anything but freshman.... reason for this is they dont have to, they have plenty of options. Lastly, get as many rec letters as possible and make friends in the chapter you're interested in.... this really makes a difference if you or people you know, know who to talk to! Also be confident, personality is also very important! Hope this helps.... Im just telling it like it is!
