transfer

This is probably a stupid question but does any fraternity even remotely consider Juniors..? I'm transferring starting this fall(possibly summer) from a small private school. This also means I'm probably going to lose some credit hours and will be at OSU for an extra year or two. We don't have fraternities and sororities but we have "social clubs", the private school version. I'm super involved in my social club, Gamma Sigma Phi one of the top clubs on campus; I'm an officer for GSP. I'm also involved in tons of other organizations around the community and on campus. I have a high GPA and am a pretty good athlete. Any advice or comments are appreciated, the honest truth will not bother me.
Thanks guys, I'm hoping not to have to be an independent for the next 2-3 years in Stillwater haha

We do accept Juniors. I can set up a meeting for you with us if you want.

That sounds great, I'd love to meet with you Ben. Mind me asking who you represent?

Yes we do. We are widely respected as a top tier fraternity. We average a 3.5 GPA for all members, and recently won Homecoming with Chi Omega. Check us out on our website!

As far as the Delts at OSU go I don't really know anything about y'all but my best friend is a Delt at SFA in Nac and he loves it so that speaks volumes to me. I'd love to learn more and get to know y'all.

If you're as smart as you sound, you should know not to try to get any true information from this site. You're being mislead in a big way by the comments above. If you're from OK, have your friends get you in touch with some guys that you might actually like.

I'm aware of the the constant state of conflict among the users on this site, sadly however it's probably one of the best places for me to start. Unfortunately most of my Oklahoma friends are just that, Oklahoma people, as in they go to OU and are involved in greek like there. I don't really know anyone on campus, I maybe have 1 or 2 people that I know and I plan of reaching out to them but in the meantime I wanted to see if I could get some sort of consensus from amongst the users. Also, I'm from Texas so my Stillwater connections are even slimmer due to the distance from campus.

what this one said above is true about the comments at the top. they are in fact not a good house and going delt is pretty much social suicide. Since you don't have many connections or people in Stillwater to lead you in the right direction and your not going to be here till at least summer, I would recommend going ton the OSU greek website and getting information off there. most houses have information posted there about who you can get in contact with (rush chairman) to meet guys in the houses.

We are a large national fraternity who have just recently been brought here to OSU. If you'd like I can give you my contact information to learn more.

Yeah that's what I gathered from my research. That sounds good, you can send it through my email if you'd prefer to keep it off this public site. My main email is cenglish@harding.edu
