2022 sorority ranks and why

Top: kappa/pi phi/chi o- Top choices for pnm’s during recruitment, well put together girls, very pretty and good gpas, mixes well with frats, involved in Greek life events, kappa does well in sports especially. Chi o’s known for being smart and more reserved while kappa and pi phi have more partier types in comparison.

Lower top: theta/kd- Theta down a tier because they’re messy and catty, both houses have consistently good gpas & are popular among pnms, KD does especially well at shows and are usually pretty friendly, haven’t met a KD I don’t like.

Upper mid: g phi/zeta- “party girls” (especially zeta) popular among frats, very pretty girls in these houses, g phi has some retention issues, both still really great houses. Zeta very active in Greek life and sporting events!

Mid: adpi/tri delt- pretty middle houses, don’t hear much drama from these houses, tri delt has some retention issues, very involved in Greek life activities. Girls in these houses get along with each other well. Not the most popular and no ones top choice usually but they all seem happy to be there, so good for them.

Lower mid: phi mu/axo- always hear drama from these houses between the girls. Phi mu’s are usually sweet but did not get a great pc this year and heard they don’t even like each other. In my opinion axo shouldn’t be as high as it used to, literally known for throwing themselves at guys (even ones their friends are dating) and partying way too much, that’s not what a sorority is about and shows bad character.

Upper bottom: aopi- party girls, very messy and dodgy reputation. Though the girls in there all seem to get along decently, I would say they are the “frat” of the sororities, pretty laid back, no ones top choice but not a terrible house. Would be better if they were more involved.

Bottom: axid- newest house they still need to work their way up, not a bad sorority lots of nice girls in this house and definitely have the potential to be a lot better. Killed it at homecoming this year. Unfortunately, this is the very last choice among pnms and they pretty much give a bid to anyone. Had a lot better pc this and last year.


Overall advice for pnms you’ll get the best Greek life experience at OSU at pi phi, kappa, chi o, kd, or zeta
