All hands on deck

It goes to show that no matter the thought, the planning and the heart that goes into a deck, it will always be the big houses on campus that win year after year. It’s no shock anymore. Even if I’m brutally honest and my favorite didn’t deserve to win or place top three it’s quite obvious that the houses that should have placed were not. There were things done this year that were never attempted and new concepts that were neat as could be. To all those who didn’t rank as high as where their effort and heart was, it showed!! To all of us that came before you, we’re not surprised. Some things never change but one day they will!! So keep blazing those decks brighter and better than before!!! Don’t give up because somewhere out there you will inspire the drive and ambition!

And remember, the winners are nothing without someone to compete against!! Without you to go up against, they would be the only deck in the game. Never give up! It matters to you and it should!!

Your desks were something to behold and you should ALL be proud!!

I can’t even begin to tell you how many people I heard making exclamations of how cool your stories were or how neat your features were. Even students and alumni from other houses were surprised and delighted. You caused bottlenecks you had so many people taking pictures!!

As a Cowboy fan, I wanted to tell you that I enjoyed the hard work and I thought it should have been recognized!!
