MAJOR RECRUITMENT VIOLATION???

by:

Y'all it is literally 2021. (Look at a calendar, you can't tell me I'm wrong.)

For a Greek system that preaches equality in all aspects, I think there are two very obvious recruitment imbalances that need to be addressed. To be frank, if I were a PNM right now, I don't know if it would be possible for me to navigate the recruitment process with such a clear and evident institutional bias. If true progress is to be made on our campus, some changes need to happen. Panhellenic women go out of their way to ensure that their chapters don't get any unfair advantages from any amount of social and societal status that they have, but our University obviously only cares about that "equality" at face value.

If we want to promote a truly fair Panhellenic recruitment environment, I move that we make Chi O Clock and Theta Pond disaffiliate and serve as Gamma Chis during the recruitment process. The institutional bias shown to these two monuments on campus creates an imbalance that is quite unacceptable. From March to August, "Theta Pond" should be renamed Panhellenic Pond, and "Chi O Clock" should be renamed Gamma Chi Clock.

If you truly care about equality, you legally have to agree with me....

This is hilarious!!! We should also cover the letters of every Greek Organization on campus so that pnm's aren't influenced by stereotypes perpetuated on Greek Rank! LOL.

I never even made the connection between Theta Pond and actual Theta. Now Iā€™m pissed off. Pond deserves better
