VR is unoriginal ??

Saw VR tonight - was I the only one that noticed that it seems like every show was a copy of another?

Pi Phi/SigEp - Pretty much a carbon copy of their show last year. Ambitious choreo, ending with an acapella cut from their finale, stereotype characters, a “twist”, hip hop at the end with angsty vibes, I could go one.

Farmhouse/Alpha Chi - The unfortunate love child of Whitaker Manor and whatever Zeta’s show last year was called. Beat for beat, almost exactly the same as SigEp Zeta 2020, except with a Mr. Whitaker knock-off at the helm.

Theta/Beta - Seemed like the average of every show that Beta has produced in the last 3 years. Very reminiscent of their Follies show from 2019 - same kind of songs and jokes. Also I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those costumes before - I can only assume that they just reuse the same costumes year after year.

Kappa/Snu - The rhythm and song choice and choreo is basically the same is their show with Fiji from 2019 (it’s also just as underwhelming as that show was).

Chi O/Sigma Chi - actually seemed pretty original, good job guys!
