Varsity Revue Exec Is Lazy?

Instead of allowing casts to be in the seretean center when awards are announced at this years Varsity Revue, the exec team has graciously decided that only two directors from each cast will be allowed on stage and it is up to the individual casts to figure out where they’ll watch the ceremony... What about going outside and announcing awards on library lawn? What about allowing casts to sit in the auditorium and having guests leave because the awards aren’t for them and their hard work? I came up with these solutions in the same time it took me to process that casts wouldn’t be at awards... It honestly just seems like Exec and the people who make the decisions would rather put less effort in and take away from the experience of the casts who have spent months working on this show...
It’s nice that we get to do that show at all, but the typical fun of having an OSN and being present for awards has been exchanged so that the people planning the show can save some of their own time- maybe if you didn’t wanna work hard to make this experience better for the casts you shouldn’t have applied for the positions that you’re in.

no but for real never in my life have I had to work with such an unorganized team. it is truly such a slap in the face to work so hard on something and be given bare minimum effort in return. they are the most power hungry and intolerable exec team of any show i’ve ever done
