respons to updated fraternity rankings

When I was a memeber of a fraternity at OSU, there were rivalries and even some hatred, but when all was said and done, we took care of each other and stood up for each other. I was asked, by a parent, to look into the greek system for their son who will be attending next fall. I happened on to this site and am floored by the apparent hatred some posters have for the other fraternities. My first hope is that these posts are written by a non-greek participant. I don't think this is the case. I see people on here asking bogus, generated questions in order for haters (which in reality are probably the same three or four people) to get on here an spew accusations and unfounded opinions towards people who are, most likely, in their overall brotherhood. Poster "GreekRankings", do you realize that a fraternity's national commission can read what you've posted as specific statements and consider it slander, then subpoena your records? Never assume total anonymity! If you're really embarassed by the greek community you're a part of, try not pointing out the bad in each place but instead find good in each house. THe actual embarrassment is finding a site like this, filled with rants and rumblings, and having the name Oklahoma State anywhere associated with it. You're in college, which means you're close to adulthood or already there. Have some class, support each other, and realize that people are on to you!
