What’s going on???
by: SooooCan anybody explain the situation with alpha chi? I looked at their rankings and saw two things mentioning “body shaming” but I haven’t heard much about it? Like is that for real or is it some really crazy misunderstanding?

I think a girl got in trouble for posting “risky” pictures on instagram. Then alpha chi exec body shamed her and handled the situation poorly so she dropped. I have seen a lot of girls standing up for her and wanting change right along with her so it’s definitely not the whole chapter to blame

Okay that really really sucks for that girl. She deserves so much better than that and whoever on exec did that to her can kick rocks

Every house has a social media contract to hold members accountable. From what I’ve heard, the girl was kindly asked to take the picture down and didn’t. Who knows what really happened in that meeting and I really do feel bad if that poor girl got body shamed, but members have to be help accountable somehow. Again not saying axo handled it in the best way, but you gotta look at it from both sides

agree with the statement above. body shaming is in no way okay but there are always 2 sides to stories!! It could have easily been a misinterpretation in a meeting or something idk. Members are often quick to judge the people in charge/ on exec, when in reality, their just doing their jobs. a full on booty pic on social media just isn’t appropriate, Everyone knows that and if a future employer saw that you’d get turned down immediately. ALL sororities have their members sign contracts literally saying “no inappropriate pictures of your body”. follow the rules and you’ll be okay. I hear you 100% when I say body shaming is NEVER okay, and don’t know what exactly happened in this situation and I’m sad if this is legit, but you have to take everything with a grain of salt, especially on Greek rank lol

dang if only there was some kind of forum where people could anonymously ask questions and make commentary about all of the greek orgs at osu 🤔
