fraternity comments

Fiji is a good house but actual truth is correct. they are terribly over rated. probably 5th best. Sig ep is over rated. they have a double wide trailer for a house. Top 3 are easily Sigms Nu, Beta, and Sigma Chi. Lambda/Fiji/SAE are a close 4/5/6 and then its Pike, Sig Ep, Phi Delt... no one else is relavent after that and that is the truth

Been here 3 years...SN, SAE and FIJI are top three and its not even close, everyone else just picks up the kids those three didnt sign.

Fraternities are ranked according to this list:
sigma nu, fiji, agr, sigma chi, sae, kappa sig, sig ep, farmhouse, beta, phi delt, lambda chi, ka, phi tau, ato, pike, and dtd. Nuff said

Wow, when did fiji get good? When I was at OSU they were awful. It's been a while tho. Did they pick up the DU scraps when they went under?

The only way IFC officially ranks fraternities is on GPA. I think it's safe to assume that if you're doing grades right, you're doing other things right as well. The Spring '11 rankings of GPA are:

Not saying I agree with those 100%, but they are pretty close to what the actual rankings might look like.

Then the rest dont matter.

This is 100% real. In order. Deal with it.
Sigma Nu (- Great at shows, good recruits, needs to step up homecoming, thought of as top house)
Fiji - (Best at shows, ok recruits, pretty good at homecoming, very active on campus)
AGR - (Best at homecoming, good recruits, most active on campus, shows could use improvement but not terrible.)
Beta - (Very well liked by girls, great at shows, doesn't do homecoming, not liked by alot of fraternities.)
FarmHouse - (Don't party alot and therefore go under the radar but a quality fraternity all the same. Great at grades)
Sig Ep - (Consistently does ok at every thing but guys HATE them)
SAE - (Usually thought of as a upper middle tier house but didn't even make follies. Overrated)
Sigma Chi - (Struggle with recruitment and on the verge of becoming bottom tier. House is the only thing that's saving them.)

The rest it's some what of a toss up to me. None of them are very outstanding and probably change every year.
