Diversity in sororities/ not getting a bid?
by: First-Gen IndianI'm planning on rushing and was wondering about the diversity in OSU's sororities. Do you have to be white to get into a sorority?

I would say for the most part, the diversity of greek life reflects the diversity at the university. There are definitely members of different races in the houses, but sororities are still predominately white since OSU is predominately white.
With that being said, you definitely don’t have to be white to get into a sorority here! From my experience, it’s more about resume and GPA! I hope this helps and you give recruitment a shot!

i can’t speak for all houses, but i can tell you for a fact that at least my house picks people based on involvement/grades originally, and then how well we get along later on. NEVER based on race. i encourage you to go through rush and see if it would be something you’re interested in!
