gpa during rush

Would a girl have a chance in recruitment as a sophomore with a 3.0 gpa? I’ve been seeing on the “how to get the bid” thread that a lot of individuals are commenting to have a really good gpa because going through recruitment as a sophomore, is hard enough. Tell us how it is, don’t tip toe around our feelings please.

You will be a grade risk. It’ll be hard, but try to make up for it by having great conversations and being yourself! It’s not impossible.

I wouldn’t expect a bid from Chi O unless you have girls that could pull for you..

You could have a shot at a house you really want but only if you’re involved, know something girls in the house, and have a great conversation. Sororities don’t take grade risks..

Whoever said not to expect from a bid from Chi O is on the money haha. I mean if you know girls in the houses I think you should be fine. You can definitely make up for it when you upload your “resume” and have a memorable conversation. If you’re doing stuff here at OSU I think you have a great shot for any house, all of the houses want girls who care about not just the Greek community but the entire OSU community.

Best of luck. It’s rough. Just watching all those girls desperately sprinting to another house to line up, makes me stressed out enough.
