Stop listening to people telling you what to do. Get to know the girls in those houses (and others) so that next year you'll know what you want to do. Plus, rushing as a sophomore is hard because houses are geared up for freshman with 4 years to give to the house. So you'll need girls that really want you and are pulling for you in the houses you really like.

ADPi is a wonderful house and so is Tri Delt. Whoever told you to stay away from those houses are complete and utterly wrong. I know both houses have a lot to offer and also value friendships. Every house might have someone you don’t like and people you do like but if you’re going to rush there WILL be heartbreak. Rush week is very brutal and DO NOT listen to what anyone has to say or what houses your friends are in because Pan love is real. I have friends in all of the houses including ADPi and Tri Delt they are not bad houses especially those two. I can honestly say some of the nicest girls come from those houses. Please go into rush with an open mind and I know that’s easier said than done but the reason why so many girls dropped from recruitment was because they were so set on a handful of houses and didn’t give any real chances to others.

They are good houses and get great girls!

Best advice I received was to keep an open mind and give each house a chance. See how your conversations go through the week. Are the genuine? Do you feel like you could hang out with the girls at ABC or XYZ house? Also pay attention to the girls you are going thru recruitment with bc they will be your sisters. The girls rushing you will probably graduate before you. All houses have something to offer - see where you feel at home.
