Not sure! Heard many houses not participating this year, but I saw the bid lists and pledge classes were extremely small compared to how many went through my year. I think I saw 57ish on KD (and similar in others! Just counted bc I have acquaintance there) and I had many more in my class! I think OSU Pan dropped the ball and needs to fix it or else will have record number of transfers. Don’t think this won’t effect that and/or effect your happiness at your school. Apparently record numbers dropped!

The problem is not with Panhellenic, it's with this site and the alums and parents that are guiding pnms as they head toward recruitment.
If you notice there are a handful of houses that are considered top houses by the people who post here and by their parents and friends. The other houses get so much criticism that it takes a strong girl to withstand being ridiculed for joining such a "low" house.
Of course the girls that stick it out figure out that public opinion of GR was wrong. But weaker girls drop out of recruitment. There's not enough room in the top houses for every last girl going through to get a bid to one of those houses.
Nor is it fair for the other houses who get slammed so much.
Let's make our site more inclusive.

PCs were actually very similar in size to last year's PCs...a few houses had a few less ladies than last year, a couple had more. I think many more dropped this year during recruitment but can't actually confirm if more or less dropped than usual. PNMs need to stop worrying about "the letters" and focus on the sisterhood and where they feel comfortable and their outcomes would be better.
